this episode is so fucking funny purely because of chakotay first being like “lol good luck with the maquis crewmembers that are misbehaving” ribbing tuvok about it but the literal first minute shit goes south for real he’s like “if you disrespect tuvok again i am going to get nasty” and punches a guy

In a way I wish it was Chakotay's son... it would have added an interesting dimension to the show, having to raise a son he never wanted. But we can see he was already coming to terms w it and would learn to love him...

Would have had a nice continuation of storyline, even after Seska died. A link to the beginning of the journey... and things he would have had to deal with the whole way.

Instead it broke off cleanly and it was all forgotten and shoved into the past.
