Winter (Over) Confidence
AO3
Deciding to start an empire in the coldest continent, at the beginning of winter, having never experienced such a season before is what one may call, generously, a bit of overconfidence. At least, that's what Philza thinks. Techno is too busy getting sick to have an opinion about it
My treat for @stresscr0w for the @mcytblrholidayexchange
Wanna read about Alex getting help and becoming friends with Tim? An au where nothing bad happens (so far)?
Look no further.
Second chapter of too sweet for me is out! A whooping 13.6K!!!!

Brian thought he would welcome emptiness, silence, something along the lines where he wouldn't have to continue thinking, breathing, living with his regrets. Instead, it's just him, alone, with the thing he thought would save him from the Ark. ----- Contrary to expectation, there's always an adjustment period whenever It gathers the broken from the Ark. It just didn't expect this one to hold on so strongly.
I always have so many thoughts about Skully and how It interacts with others<3
When one looks at the Moon from the Earth, one usually thinks about how pretty it looks. Maybe admires its shine in the dark skies. At most, wonder what Earth would look from up there.
One would not think about how to get off said Moon if trapped there, although, maybe Phil and Techno should have thought about that before the portal had gotten blown up on their faces.
-----
Ambushed at the Moon Portal and now stranded in the Moon, Techno and Phil must now find a way to get back to the Empire before their resources (or their nation) end.
🥺 a snippet please?
[cocks gun] Moon's haunted
-------------
"I mean, is food that necessary?" Techno half-heartedly said, as he continued trying to revive the half-destroyed radio in his lap, "Didn't people say the moon was made out of cheese or something?"
Phil, still standing up and looking around with his sword ready to attack, rolled his eyes.
"Mate, this shit is just rocks," As if to demonstrate, Phil kicked at the floor, scowling at the cloud of dust that jumped into the air, "We could try and eat the enderman though."
"Sure," Techno snorted, trying to not flinch when the radio started to spark in his hands, "Trying to catch a mob notoriously known for its teleportation and tendency to bite your head off is a better idea than mine."
"Your idea is to not eat," Phil scoffed, taking a few steps closer to Techno to try and peer at the radio, "But there aren't that many endermen around, so maybe my idea isn't that good either."
The other sighed, dropping the radio and scowling at it, huddling into his cape for just a little more warmth. The moon's temperature, while milder than the Antarctic, was still colder than normal. A cold that felt different from their home, a cold that seemed to try and drain them of any energy, any warmth.
"That's a good point," He continued, staring at the broken radio and trying to think of a good way to make contact with their empire, "I would have thought there would be more around, this is free real state after all. No noisy players, or water or anything."
A noise suddenly started in the distance.
At first, it sounded not unlike an avalanche, a phenomenon relatively common in the Antarctic Empire considering how high up in the mountains they liked to build. But then, the pitch started to go up, and up, and up. Like claws digging into glass.
Technoblade shuddered, fur raising up in alarm, as he shared a wide-eyed look with Philza.
Then, after what seemed like eons, the sound ended, a roar not too dissimilar to an endermen's dying screech. All around, the few mobs seemed as alarmed as the two players, some even teleporting away in a hurry, like deer upon hearing a wolf's howl.
"...I think I have a guess as to why there aren't many enderman in the moon," Phil said, white knuckle grip on his sword, wings half raised in an alarmed posture.
Fake amnesia with Alex and Jay?
send me a reverse trope and MH characters & I'll write something for it
On AO3
At first struggled w this one (couldn't decide between who was the fake amnesiac) and then this came to mind and i may do another oneshot about this lmao?

Alex woke up, for once, not wanting to die.
It was a novel feeling, to be honest. Waking up without having that deep dread rooted inside him, eating him from the inside out, without feeling like he was being observed, like he was about to become prey. Waking up and just feeling… nice.
He could hear the sound of someone in his kitchen, the sound of pots being moved and the old fridge being opened and closed and opened and closed. And, while usually, that would be enough to make him grab the gun he hid underneath his pillow, today, it just merely made him snort fondly and get up, pausing to even yawn and stretch.
How could he be worried, when he knew exactly who was inside his house? He had been the one to invite him yesterday.
The mere memory of yesterday was enough to make Alex smile, feeling giddy and happy in a way he hadn’t felt in ages.
