oc update since it's 2026 lol >_< ok so this is manon and marie !! they're a bit of a yuri-situationship-friends to lovers-knight x princess thing 😭😭

i swear i had a lot to say about them but it seems to have escaped me lmao

(please ignore the physics of marie's dress and the fact that manon may or may not be based on augustus' concept art ^^)

soo basically they're from old kingdom-era france i guess?? (the city doesn't rlly have a name... villeneuve is my placeholder name, but that name was only put into place AFTER the old kingdom was dismantled and the palace burned down)

erm yeah. anyways manon is a general of the.. royal army... (oh my god it's literally augustus i can'tttt 😭😭😭) and uhhh marie is the only princess of the old kingdom :'3 i feel like they're a little bit sypatia coded, but manon actually grew up in a rich family !! (they were some random noble family ^^)

manon's parents weren't really believers in the whole god thing - and they spoke out against their god, finch - soo she cursed them (more accurately, she cursed manon, their only daughter)

HER LORE IS SO UNFINISHED RAHHH but anyway finch took one of her eyes (that's why one of them is missing) and it's constantly in pain !! yay !!!

marie is kinda uninteresting ngl.. she was born a princess with no siblings and grew up in the royal family, etc. recently, her parents have been trying to marry her off to some prince or king from another kingdom, and of course she doesn't want to get married...

... until she saw manon (it was love at first sight okayy)

OH YEAH also i forgot to say this earlier - manon is marie's bodyguard !!! so yeah they're kinda around each other all the time and maybe they kiss when no one's watching

i had a dream where i was trapped in an amusement park. a staff member found me and was like "hey the owner wants to talk to you" so i followed them to the office and it turns out the owner is spirit ⁉️⁉️

i very vividly thought "wow this is wild i gotta tell viktor about this" and then my alarm went off so. here i am 👍👍
