One Month Out! Measurements And Merriment
Hey all!
As of yesterday I am officially one month out from my surgery. This month over all has been fantastic. I've never been able to lose this incredible amount of weight in such a short time ever. I'm now thinner than I was when I met my boyfriend, and almost as light as when I started college (another 10lbs for that.) I also have been keeping up with my measurements this month as well. My starting point is below.
START:
Hips: 48" Waist: 37" Bust: 44" Thighs: 29" Upper Arms: 14" Dress Size: 14-16 Pants: 16
ONE MONTH OUT: Hips: 46" Waist: 33" Bust: 42" Thighs: 28" Upper Arms: 13" Dress Size: 12 Pants: Unknown (I haven't tried any on.)
The total inches lost for my first month has been 10 inches. And I've lost a total of 2 dress sizes, which is a big win for me. I'm very happy to be on the semi soft foods stage. I feel much more human this way. I figured out I can have salmon, my favorite fish out there! We've been going out again on our days off and my go to entree is anything fish. Of course there's no way I can finish it all, so I take it home with me and eat it for the next couple of meals. I also figured out that my diet plan allows for plain crackers. Sound the alarms and hallelujah! I just had some crackers today with homemade chicken salad and felt like a normal person.
Unfortunately I am in the dreaded week 4/5 stall. It's a small one, in that I've only been floating around the same pound for a week, but I'm hoping I can break it soon. Meanwhile, everyone is telling me how much thinner I look, and that in itself is worth all the bother.
I'll check in again soon with more updates. Have a great weekend!
