--- Nao had flirted with the idea of a tattoo before, but they know, realistically, that they won’t be able to get one in any visible place, because of their job. Of course that does not ban them from getting one, but as much as they like the idea of putting decoration on their skin, they wouldn’t even know where to begin to search for something they would not get sick of after a few years. They do like the stuff in the window though... Trippy, some of it. But no, if anything, they are closer to hopping into the shop to get a hole punched into their body somewhere. They did that in these places too, didn’t they?
The focus of their eyes shifts, and the art in the window they had been looking at moves to the background to make place for their own reflection. They push the sleeves of their jumper up to their elbows. It would look nice, though, right? To have something distinct on their forearm or something.. Though in the reflection in the window their freckles are not as prominent as they are when they shift their gaze down to his skin. Any tattoo they’d get would be speckled.. It’d look weird. Besides, what was the use in daydreaming about something like that when you didn’t even have a design anyway?
They let their gaze go over the display of art again, and over the name that brandishes the shop. ‘Dreamcatcher Tattoos’. A little cheesy, they thought, but they supposed it was a good name for business or something.. considering the many people that wanted those dreamcatcher tattoos.. Yeah, that was probably it.
In any case.. They were not about to get a tattoo, and they’d already spent way too long standing here, using his well-earned free time to loiter about. Boring, really.. They’d thought they needed a day of nothing, but they’d quickly felt cooped up in their apartment. Turns out, ‘nothing’ wasn’t really their speed.
They’d lost focus again, and this time, they get pulled out of their reverie by movement behind the window. Suddenly, they are aware of eyes on them. Rather piercing eyes, too. In the shop sits a man, possibly wondering what the hell this person outside is doing outside his shop this long. Nao figures they should get going. ---- But.. They don’t move. They’re always looking for something new to try... It might as well be this, right? They could at least inquire.
So, they end up pushing open the door, pushing their fingers through their hair as they offer the other a somewhat hesitant smile. “Hi..” They hadn’t exactly thought out a proper script before coming in here... “I liked the stuff out front, surrealism, right? Did you draw that..?”
