Doing research into some slavic mythology for a story. Nice to see that a lot of my original ideas can fit into one of the deities and the other creatures I’m looking into :D

I tend to gravitate towards supremely dark and syrupy music, which is likely why I'm so enthralled by Austin based producer Vucari's remix of Twin Oaks' Animal. The spacey electronic edit is gloriously ominous and richly textured, satisfying my recent hunger for new Neon Indian and Picture Plane music. Vucari gives the song endless swells of pulsing synths and reverbs, reminding me also of music by Chromatics or Glass Candy, but more crisp and less hazy. The remix leaves me deeply curious to hear the EP that Vucari is working on for March.
