nah some people are such weirdos abt being inclusive. idk if some of you have noticed but media (books, tv shows etc) has always been dominated by white people. non-white people look for a break in reader inserts to breathe—literally the least you can do is be inclusive and understand. it really be the people who are represented 24/7 (talking abt race, gender, sexuality, body type etc) that don’t care, i swear.
dear fic writers, coming from a black girl, we are so tired LMAO. it’s so simple to leave out a simple white emoji (ie. 👍🏻) or description (her usually pale cheeks flushed) out of your works to keep all of your readers included. if you don’t understand that jawn, block me rn <3
