Hii spider. I want to inflict my little guys and their relationship drama upon you. i will preface by saying it IS amatonormative because I have shipping brain and I do what I want. But.
So there are three besties named Richardine, Kieran, and Kyle. Kyle is not a wizard, but Ri and Kieran know eachother from magic school, and Kieran simply makes them all hang out bc he loves them both. Kyle is a hashtag troubled teen (some messed up things have happened to him :() and Ri is a sweetheart w a life goal of bringing together wizard potions and human medicine and maybe sells drugs out of her dorm room but what is she supposed to do??? Let people suffer????. Kyle is also the perfect test subject because he has very little survival instinct and she wants to study him like a bug.
Thru Hijinks Kieran + Kyle (Ri is too soft) summon a demon and Kieran immediately thinks that he can fix him because the demon is a sad little guy so he becomes the fourth of the group. As it turns out both him and Kyle have had the same bad things happen to them in the form of one (1) emotionally manipulative exboyfriend demon that killed sadboy bf, and also was trying to influence Kyle into become a murderer. But because Kieran is a bit tunnel visioned on his new bestie /r he is kiiinda leaving his pals in the dark (they r teenagers. and foolish. ) and so they start hanging out independently a bit more than just patient/mad scientist. and they realize. aw heck. respecting eachother..... and then bisexuality .. //w// . .. perhaps
And then before anyone can properly heal from the literal demons they go try to overthrow the Canadian government w/ Kieran's cousin but that's neither here nor there. also Kieran sounds like a bad friend but he's just young, stupid, and gay. All four function As A Unit again when new relationship settles but unfortunately for him forcing his friends to hang out without him is irreparable. Yes he was the one being sappy first. Doesn't matter. These are his besties what did you do to them.
this is so amazing i love the drama. love that they tried to overthrow the canadian government btw as they should. i adore ri with all of my heart. thank you so much for sharing the silly little story vwoop teenagers are just like that huh
