earlier today I had the beginning of a novella idea and then went on such a vivid day dream of the writing, the publishing, the hype, the recognition, the opening doorway for my already written work, that if that didnt already happen somewhere in the multiverse I’m pretty sure I carved it into existence

#it was called 'resurrection men' and it was a sff novella about graverobbing in the future #(obviously)#but basically they would take these bodies and repair them the best they could (aesthetically) and then 'wake them'#so they would be alive #but not the person who died they would be a blank slate #and the idea was like they were the same as having a robot but far better because it's flesh (for the creeps) and it feels more real #and it's a symbol of your wealth too so its super illegal technically but since they're mainly selling to the rich you can usually get away #w it #and the mc is this 20 something names ren who is assuming the id of ness her dead sister #but as it goes on she changes up her story from she's ren pretending to be ness to she's ness for real to she's ren and her sister talks to #er in her head and she's obviously losing her whole sense of identity #but anyway the whole point was that these RIs the bodies were suddenly acting really weird and like freezing and then saying one word every #few hours and slowly as things speed up and weirder stuff happens they realize that the RIs are syncing into basicaly a hive mind and speaki #ng together and then they connect with the afterlife and start saying they are EVERYONE and ren winds up dying and she's the last person on #page to speak with the RIs many synchronized mouths #personal

this isnt a formal thing, but sometimes i like to draw my fan villains w the pc’s but i dont always like using my own so if you would ever be interested if i drew them and used some of yalls pcs like/reply/rb or w/e

So I was talking with @broromini and kind of realized- I've seen a lot of complaining about TAZ ""discourse."" But I mean, what I've witnessed at least, is people raising a concern, the fandom discussing it, the creators responding to the concern in an open and thoughtful way, and the discussion continuing. Like, yes there are assholes, there always are, but this is kind of the best outcome a person in fandom can hope for? I think sometimes people treat any kind of conflict like it's this terrible hurtful thing but honestly a piece of media or fandom that doesn't suffer critiques or dialogue is much, much worse than a handful of arguments. I'm not saying this as a "sit down and shut up" thing but more as a "this isn't The Worst Ever" thing.
