“I’m known for being quite vexing.” Kent shrugged a shoulder. “It’s just a fact.” He paused, tilting his head thoughtfully. “Perhaps vexing isn’t quite the word. I think some people would say abrasive, but I’m not usually picking fights. Annoying isn’t quite right either, I’m not purposefully going out of my way to anger others.” Kent paused again, his brows furrowing slightly. “Perhaps vexing, despite not being the right word, is the best fit.”

Betsy was chewing on her nail for a moment, just looking at Wanda. If there was anyone who could understand how she felt, understand what it was like to have powers beyond their wildest imagining and be afraid of not being able to control them, it had to be Wanda, right? She pulled her hand from her mouth, instead wrapping her arm around herself as she just kept looking at Wanda. “Can you keep a secret?”
