Hi! So, i just finished reading all of What An Arepa Can't Heal AND OMG I LOVE IT. I like how amost every part is from the perspective of a different character because you can develop and show every characthers feelings and wholesome. My favorite ones ware Building The Base and Lifting The Lies (and i just realized every title has words with the same first letters...) because you showed really well Bruno self hatred and mindset in his pov, like thinking he guilted his family into taking care of him? describing himself as FERAL VERMIN being domesticated? Also Camilo's pov was super fun to read and definitely a comic relief I didin't knew it needed.

ANYWAYS i wanted to ask if you plan on continuing the fanfic someday, since last time you updated it was 2022 and you're in your Arcane era right now (of course I'm not demanding you to write again or anything, I just want to know if you abandoned It or if there's the possibility that you continue It someday if you get in the mood or someting)

Of course there's a possibility of a continuation. I don't like abandoning fics because it feels so... irreversible? I might get back into Encanto when more content gets released that inspires me. After all, WAACH was always supposed to be a slice of life kind of fic that grows organically. I don't have a strict outline for it.

Hi. :) I really liked your Arepa series. You have such an interesting way of writing! Especially your version of Alma was very complex. As someone who always seemed busy in the movie, it was nice to watch her focus on her family and own hobbies by the end. Especially since she doesn't have that much time left. (huh, that might be something worth exploring?) I wonder what the families relationship to the village would be like now? I'm looking forward to what you'll do next. ^-^

Since WAACH takes place right after the movie which, on all accounts, definitely left a major impact on every single family member in different ways, Alma tends to make sure that her family is okay in the present. Once things have settled down and are sorted out, Alma will definitely think about what her mortality could mean for the Madrigals in the future.

And, well, the movie already strongly hinted that having the Madrigals as the sole protectors of the Encanto just isn't sustainable. The villagers have completely relied on a single family, most of which are children, so it only makes sense they become proactive and do their part with the Miracle gone. These decisions should influence the dynamics once the magic returns, however. (But that's up to Disney, lol.)

Read the latest part of WAACH last night and OMG I love it. I wanna draw fanart of it once I finish the dtiys so BADDD😭😭😭😭 FÉLIX BEING A SWEET HEART, BRUNO LITERALLY BEING EMO {I imagined his black ruana to be like the art Juno did lol} AND ALMA BEING A CUTE MAMA ASSDFG. don't even get me started on Félix and Pepa-they're so in love it HURTs. I also really loved seeing Félixs parents!! And soon we'll see Agustíns👀👀👀👀👀👀👀

I have to say that I am sorta proud of myself that I managed to push out 16k in about 10 days, lol. The ideas have all been in my head, screaming at me for as long as I can remember, which is why all the headcanons for the dialogue just took over.

Ahaha, yeah! Ever since I wrote the first part from Félix's perspective, I've been in love with emo/sickly Victorian-child Bruno (as someone so affectionately commented). And now that I witnessed how appreciated the idea in the fandom is, I was like, imma go all out!

It's certainly a little difficult right now to figure out how high the engagement/interest in WAACH still is with the shrinking fandom and all, but every comment makes my day! 💖😭👌
