they're basically canon which automatically makes them a little boring to me I'M SORRY but i do love some problematic yuri, and they're both very hot. they would be hot together, although i fear they may clash (which could also be hot who knows)

i honestly was doubtful of this at first bc of the awkwardness and the weird thing going on with mckay but they grew on me immediately after the mass casualty. him supporting her in her adrenaline crash. him drinking with her after shift. they're endgame for sure but i don't think their dynamic or chemistry was interesting enough for me to be too invested

i'm sorry!! i see it?? but that doesn't mean i like it. they give older brother/younger sister energy to me. i think people are right to love the "you're here!!" scene but i don't interpret it romantically, i think it's an abandonment/mentorship/sibling dynamic reaction imo

realistically no. but my gay angst loving brain is saying yupppp. so i'll indulge a bit. i do love how they were able to affect each other (mostly piss each other off) and the undertone of the connection they've built ("you know me," rec letter, etc)

this ship caught me by surprise in the fandom but i can totally see it. it's got good rivals to lovers energy. maybe i'm just a raging lesbian but now that i've seen some of their scenes together again i just think what if we kissed and made up. got its merit but it's not my fav. also slightly don't think javadi could handle allat but would love to see them as besties

Like yes, I love the nipple to navel is a no man’s land inside joke too.
And of course the argument over a procedure while Walsh death stared him gave me the craziest idea about hate sex.
But it’s during the code tan patient when things die down that you see them for who they are to each other. The way they’re actually engaging in a conversation that is more than a look, and not just medical jargon throwing around in a fit of anger. Even in their vie for the first cut to save the man with the crushed pelvic, I never felt like Walsh conceited to Jack, because the work they did was so harmonious, it felt 50/50 in the responsibility they took, deaver retractor, gauge or scalpel.
Then afterwards was what I missed on my first watch. Walsh’s sarcasm that rolls off Jack naturally (need to make sure he doesn’t get another drop of blood). The familiarity in the way she asks about Robby. And the cheeky last look she gave him when she said “I won’t” to his “holler if you need me”?
There’s literally one author who is my favourite Walsh x Abbot writer right now, and they are basically carrying that legacy in Ao3 on their shoulders. I hope you see this too.
