Dominic Carter on Resilience, Foster Care, and Speaking Up
Many of you know me as a host on Talkradio 77 WABC, but my story didn’t start behind a microphone. I grew up in foster care, faced childhood abuse, and battled challenges that shaped my life.
That journey became my memoir No Momma’s Boy, a book that shares how resilience and hope can overcome even the hardest beginnings. Today, I tell that story on stages across America — from Child Advocacy Centers to foster parent conferences — reminding families and communities that our past does not define our future.
