Even after the guys stopped trying to eat him, Bugs had the nerve to taunt them with a turkey, and prevent from getting off the island. Considering Bugs was shown to have food in the cartoon, the least he could've done was throw them a turkey leg. How is that not crueler then Bugs making Bank Robber Yosemite Sam give up his material possessions, I mean Sam was an active villain, the castaways were just desperate, starving, and close to death.
I suppose it depends on which end of the fork you are on. I never said Bugs wasn’t being cruel-- I just said he had a REASON. Bugs Bunny is known for being petty. Bugs doesn’t have to be nice to people that tried to hurt him. Maybe if they didn’t jump straight to trying to eat people, Bugs would have shared what he had with them.BESIDES, the place had plant life and enough to substain Bugs... They could have tried looking for food at any time, even at the end when they were going to eat each other.
Another one of my favorite Looney Tunes episodes, Wackiki Wabbit. I always remember thinking it was hilarious when the two castaways kept imagining each other as food and trying to eat each other. I also always loved the part when bugs takes over the chicken and puppeteers it to threaten them. Classic!
