#wacom troubleshooting

I’m on the brink of dying. I’m trying to register my old Wacom Intuos ctl-4100 and it shows as connected, but not registered, I’ve reset my computer, used different cords, but it’s not registering. What do I do?

Tablet: my intous (old model) recently stopped working right, turns out they stopped supporting the old ones on the standard driver. Search your model (whatever you have) you may need to just download a different driver, fixed mine right up and I can draw again.

I restarted, uninstalled, and reinstalled the drivers a total of about six times with no joy. Then I tried to uninstall certain Windows updates, both from GUI and command line, without success. The Bamboo still has no pressure sensitivity but I just don’t even have time to fuck around with that right now.

Hey!! I’m absolutely livid!!!

two months of art block, and when I’m finally inspired enough to give it a go again, my tablet just refuses to work. It’s not even a year old.

I’m running Windows 8, trying to use a Wacom Intous Pro, Model PTH-651.

It ran fine for about an hour and a half then the lights indicating the workspace just went off and it stopped responding. I tried plugging it into different ports, deleting all Wacom/Tablet files and uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers 50 times, restarting my computer, opening the Services box and restarting the service and nothing is working. I emailed Wacom tech support and they basically just told me to do everything that I’ve already tried.

Does anyone think they might know what’s wrong?

Hey digital artists out there, I just recently upgraded from my Wacom bamboo fun 4x6 ( since I've been looking for my lost pen for 4 months) to an Intuos creative pen and touch medium. I've finally had a chance to sit down and test it out and I'm severely disappointed. No matter what I do I can't get a nice smooth arc of a brush stroke without it looking like I'm hitting bumps (and the touch is turned off) and I've updated the drivers Is this all due to the large increase in pressure sensitivity from my previous model? Even when I draw traditionally I can get a smooth arc. It has just put a huge downer in my new purchase and my history with Wacom.
