i had a dream where a bunch of shit happened but the part that concerns you was that I had tickets to go to a concert for a band that I knew nothing about other than that you liked it and I wasnt sure if the concert had happened yet and I had missed it cus the email I got was confusing as hell so I kept thinking "anikas a big fan of them i should ask her if she knows the date" but I kept getting sidetracked by dream shenanigans and never got to dm you

rozuu can I ask a little question what program for you use for your animations and is it any good

I use RoughAnimator, tis on the appstore for $6.99 USD

I think it’s pretty good! It has everything laid out and is simple to use once you get the hang of it. My only complaint is that it’s very limiting on brushes.

I also recently tried out Toonsquid which is $9.99 USD

I can’t say too much as I’ve yet to finish a project on it. But so far it’s got more options for brushes which I like. It’s got a lot of things an art app would have without sacrificing it’s animation features, if that makes any sense.

So RoughAnimator is good for rough animations and Toonsquid seems good to use for more polished projects. It just depends on what you’re looking for :]

is the list for the au fest still open? how can one sign up/join the discord?

We have not yet re-opened the discord! It is still in hibernation until the end of May. On the 4th of May we'll open it up and wake up the server (which many people are still in from last year, it's just all the channels are in read-only mode), and everyone can join then! You'll have access to the ask the mods channels, schedules and important links, and company while you work.

And then actual signups (with your completed art piece) will take place at the end of May, four weeks later, and the forms for sign-ups will be available through the discord.
