He felt himself move in slow motion to be at her side and in an instant he almost forgot that they were worlds apart. He reached out to grab her hand but his grip was left empty with only the cold air to touch. It was a painful reminder that no matter how close he felt, he could never truly be with her.

Thinking about dates with Wally. We like the old fashioned, old timey dates. Taking me out to an old timey diner (makeshift by Julie and Poppy) and sharing a milkshake and hopelessly love struck looks, Wally throwing in quick blinks drinking it with me. Sitting together at his favourite spot by the tree painting together, having him paint me. Simply sitting together, happily watching the other neighbours enjoying their time together. Me sitting with a parasol when it’s hot and sunny, Wally giving me his jacket if it’s cold and dismissing when I tell him to keep it “No, no, don’t worry, neighbour. I’m not cold at all.” And making me chuckle when he sneezes and blushes sheepishly before we go home to sit in front of a warm fire and sharing a blanket and hot cocoa I make for the two of us.
