A unique twist on the classic omelette, this waffle omelette is quick to make and perfect for a hearty breakfast or brunch. The waffle iron adds a delightful crunch to the omelette, while the combination of eggs, cheese, and veggies makes it a flavorful treat.
Ingredients: 2 eggs. 1/4 cup milk. 1/4 cup shredded cheese. 1/4 cup diced bell peppers. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup diced tomatoes. Salt and pepper to taste. Non-stick cooking spray.
Instructions: Warm up your waffle iron and use non-stick cooking spray to lightly coat it. Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl until everything is well mixed. Fill the waffle iron about halfway with the egg mixture after it has been heated up. On top of the egg mix, spread out the shredded cheese, bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Put the lid back on the waffle iron and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the waffle is crispy and the omelette is done. Carefully take the omelette off the iron and serve it hot.
