Time still thinks a lot about Kafei, about their situations and how they were secretly so similar. They think about every time they had to help Kafei get back to his normal body knowing the same solution would never work for them, they think about the times they tried, and they think about the times they broke and told Kafei how similar they really were. They remember times when Kafei understood and tried to find a solution for them both only for Time to have to rewind, they remember times when Kafei was put off by the near desperation in Times eyes for someone to understand and relate to, they remembers refusing to help because if they can't go back then why should he? They remember finally giving up at the alternate endings because even if something did work they wouldn't be able to stay in Termina to enjoy it with the one person who'd ever even slightly understand the situation they've been put in because, even if it was just for a couple days, they were the same.
Time thinks about Kafei a lot. They think they'd like to see him again. They think they might hate him for being older than them now, they also think they might be happy to see he's doing well.
They think Kafei doesn't think about them, but he does too. Except, all Kafei thinks of, is the little boy that saved the world, saved his world and then was never seen again. But he does wonder if the child is alright now, they seemed tired. He hopes they got to rest.
