What would Ilya do if he discovered he was part of a game and that someone else had always been making the MC's decisions? Would he still be in love with the MC or would he fall in love with the player?
hmmmm first and foremost, i think he’d have to really grapple with the fact that his reality--everything he’s experienced, everything that’s happened to him (and to the mc, if this realization happened during captivity)--was a lie (´・ω・`)
in the end, i think it depends on whether you share the same core qualities that drew him to the mc in the first place. if you do, he’d probably fall for the player (or at least attempt to reach the real them) but AZGHHH it really does depend!!!
and that’s kind of the interesting part, huh... would he actually try to reach you? would he start clawing at the walls of his world just to find the person behind the screen? how the hell would he do it?? would he try to bring the PLAYER over? i think anyone would go a little mad at the prospect, including him
