Absolutely amazing recovery fic! Every character in this fic has a long way to go until they're 'okay', but they're slowly inching that way. Incredible depiction of different responses to trauma, different coping mechanisms, and different ways of showing love. The whole series is beautiful, and each fic ends with hard won hope despite the challenges. Love it!

This fic is a MASTERPIECE of how to write from a kid's perspective, and use an unreliable narrator. The situation is completely inappropriate and awful, but Dick DOESN'T KNOW THAT, and that lack of knowledge protects him. Really impressive.
