Anyone for a round of golf?

Did you know that Sunset Park is ideally located for golf players and fans of the game.  The North West of England, and in particular the Flyde Coast is known as the Golf Coast amongst aficionados of the game.  Lytham itself is home to 4 championship golf courses: Royal Lytham and St Annes, Fairhaven, Lytham Green Drive and St Annes Old Links, and many more that are ranked in the top 100 courses in the UK.

There is plenty for spectators too.  In September 2015, Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club will play host to the world’s best amateur golfers as the 45th Walker Cup comes to town.  The Walker Cup pitches the best amateur golfers from Great Britain and Ireland against the USA, and follows a similar format to the Ryder Cup over 3 days of world class golf.
