I'M BAAAACK!! Only 17km/10.5 miles - with full pack too - since started too late and heat is insane (predicted 36 degrees today!). But I'm walking and was rewarded with my one of my favorite nature treats (fog) for it. 😍😍😍😍😍 Unreal how many people are on trail now. This morning's sunrise with a layer of fog looming over the fields 😍😍 I can't believe this journey is almost over. 2 more days. Praying my foot holds up. In Galicia now.... just absolutely stunning. Unfortunately my foot had the sharpest shooting pains every other step yesterday. Heartbreaking since I'm on the very last leg and could've finished in under a week, even going slow. Resting up for a day or two, as per doctor orders, and will try to continue on but if it's so painful that I can't even enjoy any of this beauty around me, I may have to bus it to Santiago and forgo getting my Pilgrim credencial/ certificate of completion which will be an absolute bummer but I also want to be able to walk after this and not have an injury that will affect all my future hiking/walking.
