Greetings friends Michael Greywolf here again, in this weeks divination we again come from my Halloween oracle deck. The hollowing oracle deck is again by Stacy DeMarco. The card I drew was the Zombie card. This card is about control or in some cases the lack of control. In popular culture we see zombies as mindless shambling monsters, husks that are no longer in control of their bodies and are no longer human. They represent an inherit fear of no longer being able to make choices and falling prey to our primal instincts. Keep in mind this is observations based on media, and art. In magical traditions where zombies are part of practice, and this is a very very vague and not totally informed observation of an outsider of said traditions, they aren't necessarily dead bodies, but living people who have had their freewill removed. So again we come to CONTROL, something to examine with the drawing of this card is are you the type of person who draws people of weaker will to you and make them change who they are to better suit you? Going into this weekend be aware of new projects and new beginnings that you have committed to or that you are considering. You hold control over whether they will advance or stagnate. If you are unsure about proceeding with them, a time of incubation and gestation might be in order. Greetings friends Michael Greywolf here with a reading from the runes of the Unnamed Path. As I was drawing the runes I was thinking of our community and leadership. At the center I see there needs to be a level of receptivity and flexibility. We hold the keys of our fate, we are in charge of the change that motivates our lives. To make this happen we need to trust our instincts. Intersecting that there needs to be balance between serving our community and serving ourselves. This week I was watching the mini series When We Rise with my partner. In this show we saw leaders in our community make tough decisions, and change minds about how best to work together to make change for our people, our Tribe. We also saw them balance their lives and service to the community.
