Happy Medal Monday! This shot was taken just 30 minutes after running marathon #12. Yesterday, people thought I was crazy to even think about running 26.2 miles in 90 degree weather. However today, I can proudly say I defeated the odds of completing two marathons in a two week span while battling the heat. This morning, I baked these beauties for goodie day at school: coca-coconut macaroons. Recipe from @shalaneflanagan "Run Fast. Eat Slow." cookbook. I seriously was doubting how they came out, but they were a hit! Thank goodness. They do definitely hit my sweet tooth!
