How do I even begin to describe this? This journey began with the desire to walk steadily with Christ. While far from perfect, it is a life being transformed by the renewing of the mind (Romans 12:2). I’m still working on it every day, but I am deeply grateful for the path and the community surrounding me—people who encourage, pray, and correct me with genuine love.
Our family is currently scattered—my parents are in the north, my brother in the south, my sister in a different country, and I am here in MNL. Despite the distance, we started a weekly catch-up for devotion and prayer. This hasn’t just helped us grow spiritually; it has deepened our relationships in ways I never expected. This is such an answered prayer!
I’ve been part of my church community for a long time. I have "sojourned" away multiple times, but God always brings me back to where it all started to continue the work there. It has been such a humbling and elevating experience to journey with people who inspire and help you grow. I’ve realized that "going back" isn’t about the physical place, but about returning to the process of becoming truly rooted in Him.
Even my workplace has become a favorite space for this. There was a time in my life when all I did was work for the sake of working. Now, I have started journeying with the people there too. It is a constant reminder that we can plant seeds everywhere and that we can always learn from those around us.
Ultimately, my life is not my own. I thank God for His greatness and for every person He brings into my life. It is through these relationships that I see Him most clearly.
