I wasnt talking about Magnadramon or Ophanimon (which btw, im Team Ophanimon just how the series treated alway Patamon and Gatomon evolution. but I can see why people wants Magnadramon and im okay if it that the chosen mega)

Im talking about the fact that, Izzy says that Vikemon and Rosemon are totally new evolution. when it was stated that Palmon was the first digimon to reach mega (after Agumon and Gabumon) in one CD Drama. I think it was in the CD Drama where Mimi and the other american digidestined helps the victims of 911, not 100% sure if its in that one or in another one, but pretty sure is in one CD Drama).

and making Vikemon the first they retcon a thing. and it could be because it wasnt in the “main continuity line” so, Hurricane Touchdown that have BIG continuity problem akak the Digimental of Miracles.

and in Tri, when Patamon and Gatomon megas show and how the kids would react will be the answer. The could be act like they alredy knew them and Hurricane Touchdown is canon. or they can act like Vikemon and Rosemon and say those are new evolution never seen before and making Hurricane Touchdown not canon. Especially TK reaction to Seraphimon will tell. because the could for whatever reason make Ophanimon the canon evolution and Kari could act “wow a new evolution never seen before” or “this isnt the one I see before”

Personally I would love to see Willis being canon since I really love him. but we have to adress all the point against it. “when it takes place in the timeline?” “why is the Digimental of Miracles there?” “why the Digimental of Fate/Destiny wasnt shown in the anime?” “Why Willis wasnt in the World Tour arc?”
