I’d never noticed that it cut to the Wallist leaders for this line about getting rid of all the Titans within the walls. He had no idea about the 100,000 titans *IN* the walls at the time, thus the dark/worried looks. Those sneaky sneakers knew all along. 

I wonder if that faction also had their minds wiped 100 years ago, or if they’re just from a line of men (I didn’t see any female Wallist priests) who pass down the wall’s secrets each generation.

In any case, I think they’ve been the Tybur family’s moles on Paradis for a while now, and they’re working with them to set in motion the fight against Queen Historia and the faction currently ruling the island.

My question for the new chapter is why didn't the Reiss family //do// anything with that special power they had? Why did they not try to just kill all the Totans and be done with it?

I can't wait for the day that people who discriminate based on race and sexuality are mocked entirely just like the wallists in Attack on Titan. Because it is all just as ridiculous as worshipping an inanimate wall. In fact, tumblr, I nominate the motion that all who discriminate against their fellow man because of race or sexual identity be referred to as a wallist. Because that is what they do; they create walls/barriers between fellow human beings instead of promoting acceptance and harmony. Reblog if you like!

I’ve been watching too much fma and snk lately but

What if Nile Dawk goes down the Maes Hughes route?

After Nile’s talk with Erwin in chapter 53 we learned that he has a wife and kids and especially a baby on the way.

I know this probably won't happen but what if he goes snooping around for information after his talk with Erwin and ends up finding out something he shouldn't have about the Wallists. It is way too easy to overhear a conversation from these guys for some reason, hell ymir even did it.

Anyway, the point is the Wallists or whoever has kidnapped Armin and Jean would most likely murder Nile for getting ahold of that information. I mean he has no clue what the Central Military Police has been doing so why should he start to know now?

Sorry for the feels this might bring up but if this happens it will go a little something like this...

Bonus: Just imagine Erwin at Nile's funeral crying because they were friends and all.

I'm reading Attack on Titan right now, and even though I've seen it before in the anime, I made a connection for the first time.

While in Stohess, the scene with the church and the prayer group isn't a very long one. But, I noticed that they're all standing in a circle with their arms linked. And I noticed that they're standing in three circles; the innermost, the middle, and the outermost. They're standing as the three walls - Marie, Rose, and Sina - while they pray to those goddesses.

... I really love the world building in this series. Simple little things like the mannerisms of the religion of the Wallists is so interesting to look at.
