FUN FACT: I’m terrible at following traditional quilt patterns and designs. It is easier to design my own quilts, that way if there is an Oopsie or mistake I simple call it an artistic deviation. LOL.

“Homage to Matisse” is my newest wall quilt on display at the Ann Arbor Art Fair this weekend. It’s a little different from some of my other work—focusing on large shapes and color. It’s about 40”h x 30”w. The colors and shapes reminded me of the Matisse cut-outs that I visit every time I’m at the National Gallery of Art. I’m in Booth 808 on N.
