ok y’all i just watched batman vs superman with @blinkingkills and

A SOLID 7/10 IDK WHAT ALL THESE 39% ROTTEN TOMATOES PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT

like yeah, a lot of the fight scenes are too long (looking at you, the six times superman hovers dramatically backlit for like 30 seconds) and like, bruce kills.. a lot of people... BUT!! this movie was actually really entertaining and if you suspend your disbelief enough, the plot was pretty nice? nothing particularly inspired, but it wasn’t terrible either. and like. i am now pretty sold on batfleck, ngl. and i have an enormous crush on alfred. and i want wonder woman to hold a sword to my throat (and also. HER THEME. A++++ I WANT IT IN MY EARS ALWAYS. is it an electric guitar?? who can tell me what instrument makes that noise.) also, poor clark is beat upon on this whole movie and i want lois to take him home and pamper him. (EXCEPT, SPOILERS: he’s in a frikkin coffin)

disappointments: WHERE WAS MY PROMISED AQUAMAN. those 3 seconds of footage within footage (i.e. recorded footage within a movie) WERE NOT ENOUGH FOR ME. I WANT MY HAWAIIAN FISH KING.

to wrap up: movie too long, but still pretty great. could have more batman/superman kissing. could have more wonder woman and aquaman. all in all a solid zack snyder movie.

JEALOUS. Those are so cool! I wish I was still in school almost, so I could take a metal class. :(

I actually took this intensive weekend class at this place called "The Crucible" in Oakland! Anyone can take a class, you just have to sign up. It was really awesome, and they have a bunch of other classes too, like leatherworking and glass and stuff, so I may go back. (It's just really expensive.)

wallsandsound unfortunately I don't have the tools, so no... but if you really want it i can give it to you! (or if i can get my hands on the tools I need I can)
