whenever bruce takes dick to a restaurant for dinner or whatever, of course dick isn't going to look at prices of the food, i mean the kind of places bruce goes to, they don't even show you the price. and dick doesn't care, bruce is a billionare and his dad that he's pissed at most days. he doesn't care how much bruce has to spend.

but dick himself, who still isn't used to being rich even after almost 20 years, is a cheapskate. he goes on a date with barbara and wally and will always choose one of the cheapest options for himself, and he doesn't care what either them get when he's paying but will always complain about it being so expensive (before being loudly awakened to the fact he's a literal millionaire. and he chose to go to a super fancy restaurant (he went there with bruce and alfred a week ago and they let him watch the lobsters in the fish bowl so he thought it was pretty neat place)
