Day 1: Silence
“You’re being incredibly childish, Arthur.”
Walt was met with silence. Art didn’t even turn in his chair to acknowledge his presence, only continued scratching down what looked like mindless doodles in his notebook. Walter crossed his arms, tapping his foot against the floor.
“You’re just going to ignore me?”
Finally, Art turned and Walt had to cringe. He’d forgotten how bad his friend had come out of their most recent ordeal, his face battered, bruised, and bloodied.
“You better believe it.” and he twirled around again, his back to his roommate.
Walter huffed, but kicked off his shoes, glaring at Art as he crossed to his side of the room.
“It’s not my fault you looked under the bed,” he muttered, folding up his jacket, “Next time don’t touch my things.”
He dodged the Anthology of English Literature just in time as it soared passed his head and slammed into the wall.

omg. Walter ((previously Name Pending)) has just the most AWFUL sense of humour and he knows it too. It’s just the dryest shit and his sarcasm is boundless. So yeah, he’d make “its Lit” jokes but with a completely straight face and not even looking away from his textbooks
Who's the one that sends shitty memes with no context, and who's the one who sighs and shakes their head in resigned acceptance or texts back 'i hate you' as soon as they see it?
Walter would absolutely just. make up his own memes and either text them to Art or post them on the school twitter. Art would be in class or something when he sees them and just sigh, turn to the person next to him and be like “i hate my roommate so much.”
Who's the one that stays up late (til like, 3 A.M.) but as soon as Person B sends them a message they're like "wtF ARE YOU DOING UP. GO TO SLEEP"
Art would probably do this, just because the shit Walt texts him at 3 am is either insane ramblings or pictures of what he’s doing in the lab at that moment, which usually turn out to be horrifying. Sometimes Walt will just text him from his bed which is like. literally right beside where Art is working bc he’s a shit. Art usually just stays up that late to finish assignments.
