October 2020 Book Haul

I'm doing really well mostly sticking to my buying ban 😇 They're all by Aussie Authors! I bought two books (the new Juliet Marillier and The Other Side of the Sky) and win a copy of None Shall Sleep from @bookbookowl!

★ How are your bookshelves organized?      My bookshelves are a bit of everything. I have my main rainbow shelves, then some favorites shelves, as well as some that are by genre or author, and others that are totally random. The ones in this picture are pretty random, though I tend to group an author’s work together.      I used to organize alphabetically by author last name, then I tried organizing by height for awhile. I always found myself pretty bored with those, so I just do whatever brings me the most joy now!      I have definitely been running out of room for awhile now and need to unhaul books. ★ Will you be watching Shadow and Bone when it comes to @netflix?    You can bet I’ll be watching it! ★ Which books/authors do you own the most merch from? If you don’t have bookish merch, do you collect anything?    I’m pretty certain I have more ACOTAR (and SJM) merch than anything else. Which, I assume will be a pretty common answer for others, too.    Some of my merch is from book boxes, such as this “Hello, Feyre Darling” pillow case cover, and these exclusive dust jackets designed by @elithienart from @illumicrate, while the rest I have purchased for myself, like this “Night Triumphant” candle from @lichen_and_limestone!    I actually rearranged the furniture in my library yesterday and the biggest problem is finding a place for all of the merch I’ve acquired over the years. At some point I need to dedicate myself to actually unhauling things. ★ Which author can surprise you every time?    Jewel E Ann! Have you read these books? I swear, even years later, I am NOT OVER some of @authorjeweleann’s plot twists.    Because of that, Jewel is one of my auto-buy authors and one I LOVE recommending because I *need* reaction gifs. 😂 @onetruedaydreamer knows exactly what I’m talking about.    Seriously though, Jewel’s books are all on my favorites lists. These are only a few of the ones I’ve read and I love them all.
