One things that I could conclude from Untamed, Lan Wangji is always waiting. Everyone he loves always ended up leaving him and he always waiting.

Even as a child he always waiting

Knowing Wei Ying back to him is all I needed. Knowing that he no longer had to wait and he can now holding someone he hold dear close to him. I still around chapter 3 in the novel and season 2 for the animation? (I'm not sure what does it called for Chinese animation is it donghua? Correct me.)
