Wantable
As I look at the ad for my dream job,
I think to myself, what’s the point of trying?
I won’t get it.
The things I want most in this world—I never get them.
Never ever.
And there is a reason for that.
The reason why I never get what I really want
is because I want it, and I want it because
it is very wantable, and thus,
many other people want it too,
which is why it’s so
hard to get.
The secret to happiness
is wanting what nobody else wants,
and making it better.
