Made it about halfway through War Bears #1 on my way to work this morning.

To see Margaret Atwood’s name on a comic book cover (one that depicts a bear-woman punching a Nazi, at that) is an absolutely overwhelming 2018 thing to happen. Not sure why I slept on this issue for so long, it’s engaging, well written, funny, informative, and uhhh very Canadian.

I’d recommend checking it out!

Have you heard about this small indie writer, Margaret Atwood? She’s been putting out some interesting books lately, and getting a lot of buzz. She’s got a new mini-series about the rise of the Golden Age of Comics from the perspective of a young Canadian cartoonist and his Nazi-fighting superheroine ,Oursonette,  after the end of WWII. Calling it now: That Atwood’s going places.
