warakuya japanese restaurant 和樂屋, sri petaling.

came here last month for dinner.. and the restaurant is just so popular, gotta queue for table even though it has already passed peak dinner hours. they do provide drinks and snacks for customers who are waiting though.

ordered the fried fish fillet with mayo and stir fried pork belly slices to share, wasn’t feeling too hungry and it was quite late.. the food arrived pretty quick, which is a good thing. and the portion was pretty alright too.

the fried fish fillet was crispy and soft inside, not too dry and mayo was quite alright, not overpowering or too oily. i think this is one of the more popular dishes that people like to order. the stir fry was fragrant, but not many meat in it, so mostly vegetables only. we ordered the non-spicy version but it turns out spicy as well.. not sure why..

i feel the restaurant was okay overall, but nothing really stands out to justify the amount of people waiting in lines.. the price was reasonable though. and they give discount vouchers for next visit.
