It invites all those neutral, peace seeking or open minded organizations and individuals to gather and discuss publicly about different peace and neutral related topics.” Introducing Azeroth Peace Council’s alternating month public event:

What is it?:

The Peace Summit is a month alternating neutral event on the first Friday of the months it lands on. This welcomes in other organizations and guilds who seek neutral efforts and peace to speak about current events on Azeroth. Things such as worries for the present, future and all that we can do (Or possibly not do).  

Why?: Communication with other guilds with like minded interest , forming bonds and friendships and a way to connect with other groups that focus on neutral efforts, or even learn what they’re up to. Followed by this, a goal to have an immersive outlet for characters to express thoughts and solutions of things happening and feel have a vocal part in where the story is at.

Who?: All neutral , cross faction and peace seeking guilds who have want to discuss about solutions for the future. (Individuals can come too.)

There is no discord for this, nor are there plans for one currently

Location: Left outer wing of Utgarde Keep, Howling Fjord. Large open space is general mingling before and after the meeting, the circular platform is the meeting space.  Utgarde Keep is NOT being used ICly

Over all guidelines:

- There should be at least one dedicated speaker for each organization so everyone doesn’t talk over each other.

-Elixir of Tongues is a must.

-CrossRP addon, while not a must- is a huge help in seeing cross faction TRPs. 

- Please do not be purposefully antagonistic (maybe someday with coordination, but this event is new and I’d like to focus on its purpose)

- Please keep OOC talk in whispers and parties. (New!) FAQs

Q: Do I need to sign up to speak? A: No, at this current point in time with how we do this, this is not an event where you have a pre-typed speech. This is a discussion and way for neutral parties to get to commune and also get to know each other

Q: Do I need to be in an organization to go? A: No, while it might be easier to speak on behalf of a group if you are with one you do not need to be a part of a neutral aligned guild or any guild to show up. We are still learning how to put this gathering together, so we appriciate you all!

Q: Can I speak if I’m not in a group? A: You are more then welcome to. While this gathering is highly focused on neutral like minded organization and guilds being able to work together, individuals may speak up as well.

Q: Are there plans to make this reoccurring monthly instead? A: It’s possible. Right now every other month was so that it wasn’t over done, and let us not have to worry about doing something each month. It also fit better with our own schedule. It’s possible next year we will do this monthly.

Q: Why is this in this location? Why isn’t this done in Pandaria? Or someplace else? Oh we should host this in Pandaria! A: We appreciate the ideas of doing this in another place, specifically, Pandaria, but the one goal was to not do this in Pandaria. This area fits our needs our needs, looks nice, and while Pandaria is pretty we do not want to use it at this time. Utgarde Keep is also not ICly being used. It is a proxy for a different location.

The Final Week of Pride Month

This is the LAST WEEK of Pride Month upon us and it's a full schedule! There are events EVERY SINGLE DAY for this last week, staring up tomorrow. All times below are Pacific Standard Time (PST).

As always, don't forget about the month-long raffle with winners announced at the closing ceremonies on June 30. There's a wide variety of prizes available, including gold, a mount, and art pieces! Tickets are 500g each, or you can get 11 tickets for 5000g

On Monday, you know it, you love it - the last Speed Dating event for the month! As always, in the portrait room in Dalaran at 6pm!

On Tuesday, a play, "Starbound" will be performed at 7pm over at Seradane in the Hinterlands. I have the utmost assurances that it is gay as all hell.

On Wednesday, starting at 5pm is the Sha'tari Bazaar over in Shattrath city, a special version of the event focusing on Pride month.

On Thursday, the Azeroth Peace Council is holding their monthly Soup Kitchen starting at 5pm, again focused on Pride month. It will be in Ratchet, so come and get something to eat.

On Friday, starting at 9am, I will be doing a marathon Twitch stream for charity and to kick off the Leylines for Life event over on https://www.twitch.tv/magicalclararose! I will be creating a new WoW character and leveling as high as I can get. The chat will get to choose almost everything, including race and class, which zones I quest through, and all of that! It all benefits the Rainbow Railroad charity, which helps LGBTQ+ people trapped in countries that have state-sponsored terror agaisnt them to get out of those countries. On Saturday and Sunday, the Leylines for Life event happens in earnest. Again focused on raising charity funds for the Rainbow Railroad, it's a show of solidarity to end off the month. Join us once more on Wednesday, June 3 at 6pm server/Pacific (7pm Mountain, 8pm Central, 9pm Eastern) in Ironforge’s Hall of Explorers for another installment of the Alliance Medical Association. The event is free for all to attend and accessible for all players and characters. It is also cross-realm compatible, so all roleplayers regardless of server can attend.

The presenter will be June Morrow, DDS, and the lecture, entitled Learn the Drill: Dentition and Dentistry, will cover such topics as tooth anatomy, dental restoration, prosthetics, at-home care, dental history, and more. Come with questions, as there will be a question and answer portion during the event if time allows.

As an OOC aside, the regular host (Apprentice Grauenvoll, Skrimps in-game) may not be available for this event. If that is the case his wife, Viletta Grauenvoll (Milkweed in-game) will assume the role of host to begin, end, and moderate the lecture.

The next lecture of the Alliance Medical Association will be given on the Wyrmrest Accord server on May 20 at 6pm server/Pacific (7pm Mountain, 8pm Central/Moon Guard, 9pm Eastern) in the Ironforge Hall of Explorers. The event is cross-realm compatible, and attendance is open to all roleplayers. 

The presentation will be given by Sir Heldane Cordel. Entitled Loss of Limb: Amputation Analysis, this lecture will cover amputation procedures, safety, evaluation, and the aftermath of losing a part of one’s self. Questions and audience participation are encouraged between segments of the lecture.
