Alright it’s my birthday today (well almost today. 13 minutes to go until September 8th) so I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks to some people who really deserve it:

Thank you, Amanda, Ellen and Tucker for saving my life at least twice this year. You three make facing the days a little easier, every day. You’ve seen me at my worst and somehow you’ve stuck around. You’re patient with me even when I can’t be patient with myself. I can’t thank you enough for that.

Thank you Mems and Martin - you’ve always supported me and held my hands tight when I’ve been tempted to do stupid things. It’s people like you that remind me there is good in the world. You make me want to be the best version of myself.

Thank you Rae and Jess for being the sisters I always wanted. You two make me laugh, give me strength and keep me sane even though you both have troubles of your own. Please remember that my hand is here for you, just as you’ve been there for me.

Thankyou to people like @her-champion, @warrioroflondonbelow and @theniftycat for being general, all-around wonderful. You reminded me that I can make friends after being hurt. And even though we’re on opposite sides of the world you never fail to make my day brighter. You’re all incredible people and I wish you all the happiness the world can give you. You deserve it.

I usually forget what I have to be thankful for especially in the depths of mental illness but these people? They help to make life worth it

wardrobespierre, my best friend and my baby brother who is older than me is leaving Melbourne today. Probs rn. And I'm sitting here like the fucking useless potato I am, crying into my soup. I know I'll see the baby nerd again but like, I'm not going to be able to just turn up at his work or drag him out to breakfast after one of my shifts anymore. And Mems, for all the mean things I've said, I love you, bro. I'm just super bad at showing it and what I say seems to make you laugh and that makes me happy.
