No no no, this wasn’t good. He should have been more careful. He was riding his bike, he rode it home from work every evening. Normal, he was normal.

But the car had come from nowhere. Minimal time to react. His eyes had flickered under his glasses, foot down on the road as he pushed himself and the bike to the edge of the car, but it still hit the wheel, flipping the bike, and Jude had been force to let himself get hit, rolling on the asphalt towards the sidewalk.

People were gathering, the driver was stopping, no no.

“I’m fine, I’m fine- Barely even-” There were lighting burn marks under the car on the pavement, what if someone saw? He had to get out of here.

things were finally getting back to normal, everyone that was gone before has come back and even sif had joined their ranks. since making midgard their own, considering the destruction of their home world, they’d even adapted certain customs and holidays into their own culture. that’s why, tonight, as the village was alive with joyful laughter, crackling fire and bursts of fireworks in the air, the god adjusts the blanket around their shoulders and tucks her up under his arm. ❛ happy new year, my love, ❜ he whispers into her ear before turning slightly to capture her lips in a slow and burning kiss.

mack had been afraid that after sif gained her memories back that she wouldn’t want to stay with him, but she’d proved him wrong. not only did she stay, but she’d even agreed to marry him! and now, it’s new year’s eve and they’re surrounded by their family and friends. drinks were flowing, people were laughing, partying, singing, dancing and everything else in between. out in the backyard, as the fireworks burst all around them, the giant man draws her into him and kisses her soundly. pulling away he murmurs, ❛ happy new you, sif. i love you. ❜

Ares was just going about his day...bored out of his mind, he wished that paranoid uncle of his would cause some trouble just so he could thwart it, Hades wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box it was a wonder that Hercules constantly stopped him. He felt a sudden presence and turned around to find a woman staring at him, that look in her eyes meant this wasn’t a friendly altercation. 

“Well love are you gonna stand there like a bloody moron or are you going to explain why you’re looking at me like I just ran over your pet cat” 

He noticed the get up and rolled his eyes. “Wonder Woman fan are you, why don’t you stick to your comics” 

Ares turned to walk away.

he would much rather this be the  other way around ;   he wonders if maybe she feels the  same.  after being separated for so long, the  last  thing he expected to find when and  if  they were ever reunited was an  injured warren. 

all he heard was a gunshot. he sees blood coming from her thigh as she sits there, seemingly in  shock,  her hand to the wound.  (  is it a gunshot wound, or something else??  )   ❝ -- warren?! ❞  when he breaks through all the ruckus, the thick bush in the woods, and comes upon the sight of her, he’s almost  relieved.  no, it’s not an  ideal  finding, but she’s  there.

the demon drops down next to her, probably being a little  less  than cautious in his approach  (  walking up to an injured, shocked warren is equivalent to poking a bear, isn’t it?  ), palm settling flat against her upper back.  ❝ -- warren.. -- it’s brian-- ❞  does she remember him? he’d like to  think  she would... but he has no idea.  there’s no way in  hell  he could forget her.  ❝ we gotta get you out of here. ❞
