@the anon concerned about Ethan saying they only show us what they want: I 100% get where you’re coming from but Ethan is referring to parasocial relationships and how we only see a slice of their lives bc the rest is private. He is not admitting to them being not-genuine, as I’m sure they are genuine, he is just referring to the fact that we don’t know their intimate lives, just what they’ve chosen to share on camera bc they don’t know us personally. I’m sure he didn’t mean to hurt anyone

I can’t find the exact passage but there's a part in one of the pendragon series of books that really stuck with me that talked about how things might seem easier if one company controlled and produced everything but in actuality, it suffocated us as a people. I saw it when I was young and it hit me at a very good age to change my thoughts and help me form an opinion. 

snowflake; are you a dog or a cat person?

I am a both for sure I don’t believe one person can really be one or the other it’s a bit silly unless you have trauma associated with dogs or cats I do not see the point in seeing one as superior to another. I tend to prefer dogs simply because of their energy and how they come across but I also love cats especially my baby Geofery that I don’t get to see anymore who helped pull me out of a depression.

I also wish that they kept the merch, or at least for a bit longer y’know? idk like I know it fits with the theme of the channel but idk it just seems kinda like a dick move to release a large merch line (with several items to collect) for only a week especially when money is so tight for so many people rn :(
