Azog and Daisy, a commission for @_sophia_gross_ on Ig.
For this commission I was asked to mix up both visual elements of The Hobbit trilogy by Peter Jackson and my personal interpretation of what a Warg Wolf might look like as described in The Hobbit by J.R.R.Tolkien.
I ended up giving "Daisy" (the huge, snow-white female warg Azog rides in the movies) rudimentary opposable thumbs in her forelimbs, a thick ruffled mane in her neck and a really bulky build. I wanted to keep her wolf-like yet give her an air of werewolf-ish sentience, seeing as Tolkien would often describe them as speaking with each other in a wild language of their own and being extremely cunning and malicious.
I hope I did pull it off!
Azog, on the other hand, is pretty much his movie self.
