As some readers might have realized, we haven’t brought out any new issues of WARK! Magazine since earlier in the year. It’s been a bit of a hectic year for most of us, I think, and while we’re all relatively alright our motivation and inspiration for WARK! has dwindled to a very low point.

For that reason we’ll be going on an indefinite hiatus for the time being. This blog will change names soon and will be used to blog screenshots and the occasional OOC type magazine about FFXIV when inspiration hits. Our Carrd will stay up for those that would like to have a look at almost two years of WARK! Magazine. Perhaps we’ll find our WARK again sometime in the future. Until then, it’s been a great ride! Thanks to everyone who has supported this project in some way, and those that took time out of their day to read it.

WARK! Magazine - Fourth Astral Moon - Issue #15

Welcome back readers and dreamers. I hope everyone is adjusting well to the sudden fervour that has gripped Eorzea! New faces, new stories, new rumours and a flurry of activity in every city. Getting this issue out the door was no small task amidst all the bustle and the myriad of stories we had to pick from, but we’re nothing if not tenacious. So here it is, number fifteen, and what a strange, but fun, writing adventure it was. We hope you enjoy!

WARK! Magazine - Third Astral Moon - Issue 13

 Some say 13 is a number of bad luck, and after struggling to get this moon’s publication out the door, I’m inclined to start believing it. I won’t bore you with the details, but rest assured we have fixed what needs to be fixed and will continue on as we have for the past 13 moons, albeit perhaps a sun later than normal. I’ve been told it’s fashionable to be late, but I feel a need to apologise a couple of dozen times before I feel completely comfortable again though my staff will roll their eyes so vigorously if I do that I fear they might lose balance. Instead, I’m going to do some mysterious foreshadowing by saying we might have something extra in the works to make up for it, something special. Until then, I hope you enjoy this issue as much as the others, and have a good sun!

[Balmung RP event] One year of WARK! Magazine

WARK! Magazine is putting out its 12th issue this moon, meaning we have a whole year of magazines to look back on at this point.

We’re celebrating this special issue with a distribution event in Ul’dah, including a raffle with Mog Station prizes.

How does that work?

Our distributors in chocobo yellow will be handing out magazines in-character at the Chocobokeep in Ul’dah from 6-8 pm ET on Saturday the 20th of April.

Simply show up in-character to get a magazine, and we’ll enter you in our raffle. 

At 8 pm we will pick a random winner using a randomizer, and that person can choose 15 USD worth of prizes from the Mog Station.

You’re free to go off and do your thing after picking up a magazine, but please try and be online on the character you entered with at 8 pm so we can hand over the prize straight away.

We will post the winner on Tumblr as well, so if you can’t be online you can contact us there. If we haven’t heard from you and not been able to contact you ourselves after 24 hours, we’ll pick another winner.

WARK! Magazine - Second Astral Moon - Issue 11

Another moon, another issue and it’s still just as good to have you back dreamers and readers. With the turning of the seasons and the coming of brighter days and shorter nights, inspiration is in the air! Little Ladies’ Day has come around and I hope we’ve all taken the time to find the princess or seneschal that lives within us. Or helped someone else find theirs, just like all of us at WARK! hope we do with every issue. So don the new flower-crowns and spread confidence, bravery and that little spark of imagination. After all there’d be no WARK! without it.
