A while ago, Ira came up with the idea that kids can tutor over Skype by talking to kids that want to get proper pronunciation in English. And it works. They do their “talking lessons” weekly. ⠀ Yesterday, we took Roy to the Nike store to fulfill his dream (I was about to say little dream, but no dream is little to the dreamer). He got his first Jordans. Paying his very own, earned money. ⠀ I don’t think I can describe his happiness, the sparks in his eyes, the smile on his face, the pose he took walking into the store, his expression when Ira told the cashier that Roy is paying with his own money. ⠀ Why am I writing all this? Because sometimes there are moments that you want to remember. And to keep them written, not to loose them.
