#THEWARONDRUGS has always been a #waronthepoor... they passed The Rockefeller Law to over-sentence millions for selling drugs Then they used #regentrification as a justification to take back the neighborhoods that were flooded with Government sponsored drugs. The prescription pill mill pushers sponsored #legislation to help them peddle pharmaceuticals to children yet the prison sentences are epidemically issued to black men and children in possession of drugs. I wonder why people that look like me get a 20 year sentence for selling drugs yet they publish articles of white collar criminals forecasting to make billions off of selling the same drugs? I wonder why the war on drugs makes no sense to me, I wonder what's the difference between a methadone clinic and a #dispensary... I wonder why #marijuana is considered illegal; yet #tobacco has been killing people for centuries... I blame the FBI, the DEA, the CIA, and a few Presidents of the USA for the overflow of drugs in the community. I view #THENEWJIMCROW and quote unquote #COINTELPRO as campaigns of genocide, why did the #AmericanLegislativeExchangeCouncil wage war against Black and Brown communities? How you don't see the #criminaljusticesystem as #SLAVERYBYANOTHERNAME? The Corrections Corporation of America has turned burying our brothers and sisters behind bars into a billion dollar industry. #mypoemsarenotpoems... This is a crash course in civics, CoreCivic is basically burying African descendants alive; how is the prison industrial complex considered an industry? The capitalist on Capitol Hill believe private prisons are better than public schools, are kidding me?! Pay attention, they're cutting school budgets yet steadily building prisons, that school to prison pipeline is really a thing. Inmates generate more income than students in the grand scheme of things. But what do I know? I'm not creative enough to coin phrases like #THETRUTHISNTTHETRUTH and #ALTERNATIVEFACTS. War on the Working People of Britain

After reading two forthcoming draft Bills (Illegal Immigration criminal Bill & UK Borders Control Bill) due to be passed by the UK parliament later this year, its hard to ignore the fact that this Government is passionate about it's war on the working people of this country.

These two Bills both make it quite explicit that it is now a criminal offense to be in the UK without legal papers. Both bills will give border Control staff, CAPITA (The UK's bounty-hunters-in-residence) & other tertiary departments, the right to arrest individuals without papers and send them court where as the law now states, only 3 things can happen: go in prison for up to 6months & or get fined £5,000 & of course, get deported.

If you have £2million or more to invest in the UK or have UK assets up to £10,000,000 then you can just walk right into the UK with very few questions asked. If you are not rich or are fleeing persecution, then you can no longer consider coming to the UK because the moment you land, no matter how terrible your ordeal, if you cannot produce travel documents to support your staying in the UK, you will be arrested, imprisoned & deported.

This love of the rich & contempt for the poor marks the overall hypocrisy of this government because the very people our forebears fought & died to resist are the exact same people this Government is trying to attract.

Also, the very social reforms created over years of struggle & sacrifice, all designed to protect working class people locally & internationally have all but summarily been dismantled, sold off and or are all on the proverbial scrap heap. Working class people are now without representation in both houses of parliament and our general apathy towards this situation has laid us open to a Government who clearly cares less for us & is actively seeking to stop the way many industries can spread their costs by employing those with a variety of skills, irrespective of their immigration status.

We are not amused.
