My first #warriordash was my first #ocr, period. Back in 2011, I ran two races that summer, this and the also now-defunct #RuckusRace. Obviously it hooked me. It was challenging, fun, and the sense of camaraderie of it all just pulled me in immediately. It was pretty much everything I’d ever been looking for in a sporting event. 🏃 Obviously things are different now, with elite heats, corporate sponsorships, world championships, and the #spartanrace push for the Olympics, but a lot of it is the same. And I think the OCR world owes a lot to the “gateway drug” of the sport for many people. 👋🏻 So long, @warriordash, and thank you for everything. You shall be missed.
