--- darkstripe, sasha and the kits come across thunderclan before they make the journey to the new teritories, he protects sasha and her kits

sasha and brindle (who lives in this au but is heavily scarred by tigerstar using her as bait, meaning ash and fern still run the dogs) bond over both having kits with cats who werent great people, however dark redeems himself over time

sasha shows up with darkstripe a few moons after great battle

ash, fern, moth, hawk, tadpole, snow and cloud all follow darkstripe around alot, making darkstripe basically a kitsitter half the time as they just wont leave him alone

darkstripe is wearing a pink rhinestone collar that he had been given by the twolegs he had taken refuge with and he never takes the collar off, seeing it as punishment in a way, though eventually he wears it with pride

pinestar being instructed by starclan to kill tigerkit and then later being made to give him a life at his leader's ceremony... as if starclan was forcing him to live with the monster he 'created'... is anyone else picking up what i'm putting down

it's actually crazy to me how curlfeather and podlight are littermates and both major antagonists in ASC and the narrative doesn't explore their relationship?? at all???

curlfeather and splashtail were working together to overthrow their leaders only for splash to stab curl in the back and team up with podlight later on but we get no insight on how and why this connection was formed and what curlfeather's relationship was like with her brother

did curl and pod get along?? was podlight aware that splashtail killed his sister?? was he in kahoots with splashtail all along?? why did podlight get away scott free and allowed to live amongst riverclan like nothing ever happened despite being splashtail's biggest supporter until the very end?? give us something to work with PLEASE

squirrelflight's hope and the confrontation scene with an uncharacteristically cruel moth flight (as well as the rest of starclan by extension) would've been such a good opportunity to do away with the stupid 'medicine cats can't have mates or kits' rule forever and they blew it for the sake of a little more squirrelflight and leafpool abuse before coming to the conclusion that was obvious from the start

moth flight could've been directly challenged for the fact that despite how much she struggled in her time and had basically no support whatsoever, times have long since changed and that medicine cats finding love and raising a family is entirely plausible in the modern clans

the reason why i love thunder warrior cats so much is because his whole story is about finding your own place in the world and breaking free of abusive situations to create a safe, loving, accepting environment for yourself and others who need it

in his adolecence he realises he isn't cut out for life on the moor and grows miserable, unable to fully fit in or feel like he belongs - eventually going to live with his father clear sky in the woodland. despite clearly enjoying forest life and adapting to it much better however, he quickly discovers that his father's a power-mad, abusive control freak who kills cats who interferes with his plans to gain territory and exiles the sick and injured - prompting thunder to leave him as well.

eventually he leaves both groups behind and forms his own woodland colony elsewhere - a colony formed out of compassion and acceptance
