In a better timeline, the primarchs would've had people looking after/ training them who could actually deal with their strength and rapidly developing minds.
Queue Valdor, the Angel, and the thunder warrior primarch as the primarchs big brothers who get stuck looking after them. Especially the Angel and thunder warrior primarch, who are technically retired from active duty and not allowed to leave Terra for various reasons.
