Laundry Done Notifier

I was playing the game the other day and kept getting irritated that I had to keep checking on my laundry to see if the cycle was finished or not. I was then shocked to find out that there wasn't a mod already out there to notify you when your laundry cycle was done...so I made one! Features:

Provides an in-game notification when the cycle is done for washing machine, dryer, & clothesline.

Given the state of your washing machine & dryer, it might not be that your clothes are cleaned and/or dried, it just lets you know that the cycle is finished! (you may have to dry it or wash it again)

There's a bunch of different variations of the notification you receive.

The notification comes from your washer, dryer or clothesline--which I think is funny.

It’s really becoming frightening the things that I’m seeing in the media.  It’s one thing for bigots to be bigots, I expect bigots to be the awful people that they are.

It’s another thing to see media institutions not push back on what the bigots are saying…

…airing this kind of talk is giving approval.

We’ve seen this in history before… and we’ve seen the road this kind of rhetoric leads, something that I’ve tried ad nauseum to communicate to my family…

…but they don’t seem to care.

There’s a passage from Small Gods by Terry Pratchett that struck me when I first read it, and stays with me to this day:

There are so many people in this country that, in order to preserve their status quo, are happy to sacrifice a portion of the population.  Even the “liberal” relatives of mine have chided me for not wanting to associate with the Trump voters in the family. 

It’s really sad to see people who say they love us sit idly by and continue to provide social acceptance to bigots, to invite hatred into their homes for the holidays, to tell us that their policies of eroding our right to exist is just an opinion.

It’s really sad to see people who say they love us pick up a stone.

Following recommendations from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, GE issued a recall Wednesday for 150,000 washing machines that repeatedly failed to pleasure lonely housewives as intended. “Certain front-loading washer models have been recalled due to a motor issue that prevents the machines from properly bringing sexually frustrated housewives to shuddering climax,” said product safety coordinator Lisa Poundstone, issuing an apology to the brand’s loyal customers while offering free delivery on whichever vibrating GE appliance they’d like to trade the washer for, in hopes that the demographic would give the company another chance to get them off.
