Perhaps an AU where Jaypaw outright rejects Starclan and becomes a Warrior to protest the treatment of disabled cats? Like, he knows that blind or deaf cats won't become warriors, so he basically tells both Cat Heaven and Cat Hell to suck it and that he's going to be a Warrior.

I mean.

Okay, so not to sound like I’m discrediting much, but for the most part, a blind cat could absolutely be a warrior. Realistically, in the redux, there is no reason that a cat with that type of disability would have an issue being a warrior.

Now, in canon? Sure! That’d be a fun time. But in the redux, where we’re looking at more realistic portrayal of cats in the wild, it’s just not going to be that big of a deal. Waspstorm is going to end up being a seer because it’s what he wants to do, not because of his disability.

Sure! I can at least give you the physical descriptions of the three, and you’re free to ask me about any other characters.

Waspstorm (p. Jayfeather) - Light ginger tabby tom w/ yellow eyes. Smaller than both Lionclaw and Ravenheart.

Lionclaw (p. Lionblaze) - Large ginger tabby tom w/ yellow eyes. Definitely the fluffiest of the three.

Ravenheart (p. Hollyleaf) - Primarily black tortoiseshell molly, w/ yellow eyes.

All of them have medium length fur. Ravenheart’s eyes may eventually end up being green but for the moment I want to stay safe and keep them yellow.

why did you choose Wasp- for Jayfeather?

I’ll explain my reasoning for the whole name in case someone else asks.

Anyway, the way that I’ve figured in the genetics, Jayfeather has to be ginger or dilute ginger (Maplenose (p. Leafpool) is dilute ginger here). Wasp- is a prefix for either a ginger or a tabby cat, and Waspstorm is both. Beyond that, though it doesn’t much when he’s a teeny kitten, he’s got a pretty waspish personality, which is where the suffix, -storm comes in. I considered -leaf, but I thought Waspstorm sounded better. Makes him sound exactly like his personality.
